One month down🥳🥳

On Saturday night we went and got frozen yogurt to celebrate and the guy working at the register was wearing a New Jersey Devils hockey jersey so i was talking to him about the Hughes brothers. Then the girl working there started asking me if i knew who m Macklin Celebrini was. And if you know me then you can guess how excited i was when she asked this. Then we talked for like 45 minutes in this frozen yogurt shop about hockey, church, utah, and more hockey. It was the best conversation ive had since being here. On thursday we were knocking an apartment complex in search of a lady name kathleen who had put in a referall a while ago but missionaries were never able to get in touch with her. One of the doors we knocked was answered by a sweet lady named Diane. She remjnded me of my grandma and it was so awesome talking to her. She was so happy that we had knocked on her door and we talked for a good 20 minutes on her front porch getting to know her. We set up plans to meet with her saturday at a pizza place for lunch and i was sooooo excited to see her again. Then on friday we get a call from Diane saying that she cant meet with us anymore and she didnt want to tell us why. Im pretty sure we can all guess what happened but truuuuust i will get her to come back. She said we made her so happy and she needs to realize that it wasnt us who made her happy but it was Christ who did. Ether 6:9 "And they did sing praises unto the Lord; yea, the brother of Jared did sing praises unto the Lord, and he did thank and praise the Lord all the day long; and when the night came, they did not cease to praise the Lord." Continually praise the Lord!!! I love you all and miss you so much!! Sister Clayburn

On Thursday i met my trainers and found out im in a trio and i have two trainers!!! Sister Tueller and Sister Doran have been so awesome. Its nice having two because in lessons i can just sit back and relax and let them handel it. Hahahha im just joking (kinda).  The ward is so great. The building is so beautiful and we have a gym . Definitely wont miss that part of south dakota because now we can play volleyball while we call our friends! The members here are THE BEST!! They are so nice and welcoming to literally everyone. My trainers said that they usually like to sit next to their friends at church but there never is a spot because the members always sit with them. Verily, Verily!

  Hey guys!!!! I've officially been in the MTC (missionary training center) for one day and it has been soooo good. I was set apart last Sunday and started home mtc last Wednesday. My district is so awesome and I have been blessed with such an amazing companion, Sister Peterson. She's from Omaha and we actually have some mutual friends from fsy. So crazy how those things work out that way. The food has been better than I expected hahaha. I know that if all else fails, I can just get some cereal because it's always an option!!!!  Today me and Sister Peterson are practicing teaching so let's hope thats goes well . I'm sure we will do great and it will all work out, so I'm trying to to stress about it too much.  I have seen God's hand play a role in so much this week.
