It's been a week and one day since I got to the MTC and I know that this is exactly where I need to be right now. I have learned so much since being here, especially about how to keep things simple, clear, and brief. so lets hope I can do that here.
I have been LOVING my district, my teachers and my awesome companion. It is so sad to think that next week we will all be split apart
. But me and Sister Peterson are both headed to New Jersey so she can't get rid of me yet! We went to the temple on monday and shout out to the bus driver who took us because he was a king. We love you john. The temple was so special and amazing and we get to go again on Friday and Saturday!

We love you john. The temple was so special and amazing and we get to go again on Friday and Saturday!Tuesday night we had a devotional given by Elder Stephen C Barlow and his wife Christina. It was such an amazing devotion and I wanted to point out one thing that Elder Barlow told. He explained that when you prepare two pieces of wood to be glued together, including sanding, cutting and cleaning the wood, when you glue the wood together and let it dry, the bond between the two pieces of wood is stronger than the wood itself. Kind of hard to explain but when you hit the wood where it is bonded, it won't break. It was such an amazing reminder that when we prepare ourselves and strive to have a good bond with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, it won't break.
God loves you all so much and I love you all so much and hope you are doing well!!
love,
Sister Clayburn
